Today SpaceX is set to launch their Another 60 Starlink Satellites for their Internet connectivity Mission.since on May 2019, SpaceX has deployed 62 satellites now today they will deploy 60 more satellites specially designed for internet coverage services.
SpaceX plans to deploy 12,000 satellites by the mid-2020s,
these 60 satellites will be launched by Falcon 9 rocket this will be the heaviest payload till date.
by these satellites Elon Musk (CEO of SpaceX) aims to help remote and poor regions of the world to get access to World Wide Web or internet.
Today the history will be made by SpaceX because this is the first time that a Falcon 9 rocket will launch for a fourth time.
on the SpaceX official Tweet it is mentioned that
they have clearly mentioned that if the Starlink satellites that may not raise to the proper orbit, if that is the case, SpaceX stated it would quickly burn up in the atmosphere.
today these Satellites will be launched at 9:56 a.m. — it had been scheduled 9:51 a.m and the location of launch is from pad 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
after launching these satellites SpaceX still needs to finish developing a small device that customers will use to receive broadband signals from the satellites which is known as user terminal.
also spacex needs to plan how their Internet service will reach out to the users It’s possible the service will be offered directly to customers, while in some countries, customers will need to sign up for the service through a telecom service provider.
